Plan Area

The plan area displays tasks as color bars associated with events (classrooms) along the left side of the plan. The start and end points of each task is associated with a start and end time that is displayed on the header area of the plan. How to draw and manipulate the tasks has been mentioned in the actions area description.

The drop down menu provides additional functionality. Properties displays the properties of the selected task.

Row detail opens up additional space allowing you to view details associated with all the tasks rendered on a row. Each rendered task has its own dropdown window in which you can put any type of list or detail report.

Zoom allows the user zoom the plan to various percentages.

Selecting Remove will remove the rendered task from the planner and delete all associated data from the planner report.

Change date displays a calendar that allows you to select the start date/month for the current plan. Changing date does not remove any data from the existing plan, it just changes the starting date/month.

In this shot the starting date is December 7. The calendar is displayed and December 6th is selected as the start date. The plan is redrawn with the December 6th as the start date and the tasks moved and rendered on December 7th.
